Sofia Carson is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She is best known for portraying Chelsea on Austin & Ally and she stars as Evie in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants. She had a two-episode role in MTV's Faking It in 2014. And in the DCOM "Adventures in Babysitting", alongside Sabrina Carpenter.

Sofia Carson is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter, dancer and actress, probably best known for portraying Evie in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants, and also guest starring on Disney Channel's hit series, Austin and Ally as Chelsea in the single episode "Princesses & Prizes". Having a two-episode role on MTV's Faking It and she stars in "Adventures in Babysitting" with Sabrina Carpenter.
Some critics describe her as a very talented young girl who might become the next "Selena Gomez", meaning that she has a lot of potentials to become the next "Disney Channel Girl".
Sofia was recently cast as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants, which is slated to premiere sometime in 2015.[1]
